The newest IQ Combiner, X-IQ-AM1-240-5-HDK consolidates interconnection equipment into a single enclosure, and streamlines IQ Series Microinverters and IQ Gateway installation by providing a consistent, pre-wired solution for residential applications. It uses Control Cable wiring for communication and is compatible with IQ System Controller 3/3G and IQ Battery 5P, providing a complete grid-agnostic Enphase Energy System. This model is identical to the standard IQ Combiner 5C, but it comes with a pre-installed hold-down kit (HDK). This kit is designed to secure circuit breakers within the combiner, which can be a requirement for certain installations or jurisdictions. the "-HDK" suffix indicates the inclusion of the pre-installed hold-down kit, which can simplify installation and potentially address specific code requirements in some areas. If a hold-down kit is needed or desired for your installation, the HDK version eliminates the need to purchase and install it separately. NOTE: Breakers are sold separately.

Combiner with Enphase IQ Gateway PCBA (Printed Circuit Board A), consolidates PV interconnection equipment into a single enclosure and streamlines IQ Series Microinverters and IQ Gateway installation by providing a consistent, pre-wired solution for residential applications.
 
The X-IQ-AM1-240-5-HDK combines up to four AC branch circuits of IQ Series Microinverters and/or IQ Batteries. It has an outdoor-rating, NRTL-certified NEMA type 3R enclosure containing an IQ Gateway, circuit breakers, a pair of consumption metering CTs, an IQ Battery 5P metering CT, and wiring for IQ Gateway connections.
 
The IQ Combiner 5 includes a Mobile Connect LTE-M1 cell modem. Use the IQ Combiner 5 for single-phase applications and to support the AC connections needed for an Enphase residential solar installation.
 
NOTE: This combiner is compatible with the newest IQ8 Series microgrid technology and is also backwards compatible with all previous generation microinverters (IQ6 & IQ7 Series Microinverters).
 
Battery & System Controller Compatibility: IQBATTERY-5P-1P-NA and IQ System Controller 3/3G only. Not compatible with IQ 3/10/3T/10T and EP200G-SC2-RSD-KIT System Controller 2 or previous System Controllers.
 
NOTE: Does NOT include Mobile Connect Cellular Modem (CELLMODEM-M1-06-SP-05) and is NOT compatible with the Enphase IQ Battery 10C (IQBATTERY-10C-1P-NA).
